W.R. Meadows Expands Sustainability Documentation Access Through Ecomedes

W. R. MEADOWS and its subsidiary, BLUE RIDGE FIBERBOARD, are now featured on Ecomedes, a platform used to access and evaluate sustainable building product data.

According to W. R. MEADOWS, the listing gives architects, designers, specifiers, and contractors access to sustainability documentation, including Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), through a centralized platform intended to support material selection and project documentation.

Kimberly Lombardozzi, Sustainability Manager at W. R. MEADOWS, said the move is intended to make sustainability information easier for customers to find and use during the specification process.

The company stated that Ecomedes allows users to search, filter, and compare products based on CSI division, sustainability attributes, certifications, and performance criteria. W. R. MEADOWS also noted that the platform can support project goals tied to frameworks and standards such as mindful MATERIALS, LEED, and WELL.

According to the company, the Ecomedes launch builds on earlier efforts to expand access to transparency documentation, including publication of EPDs and related sustainability information through the Sustainable Minds catalog.

W. R. MEADOWS said the broader objective is to improve access to verified environmental data and reduce friction in specification, submittal, and documentation workflows for construction professionals.
