2027 Polyurethane Short Course

Monday, April 19, 2027 to Tuesday, April 20, 2027

JW Marriott Tampa Water Street 510 Water Street Tampa, FL 33602

Co-located with the 2027 Annual Convention & EXPO in Tampa, FL.

Polyurethanes are among the most versatile and widely used chemistries in the adhesive and sealant industry, delivering outstanding bonding performance across a broad range of substrates and applications. From rigid structural assemblies to flexible packaging and construction systems, polyurethane technologies offer unique performance advantages. However, achieving the right balance of processing, adhesion, durability, and cost requires a thorough understanding of polyurethane chemistry and formulation principles.

This intensive 1.5-day course provides a comprehensive introduction to the science and technology of one- and two-component polyurethane adhesives and sealants. Participants will explore raw materials, reaction mechanisms, formulation strategies, adhesion fundamentals, polymer morphology, performance properties, and physical testing methods.

Led by experienced industry professionals, the course combines technical instruction with practical insights drawn from real-world applications. Attendees will gain the knowledge and tools needed to effectively select, formulate, optimize, and troubleshoot polyurethane adhesive systems, enabling improved product performance and more successful commercial outcomes.
