Forza Expands Isocyanate-Free Hybrid Polymer Adhesive and Sealant Portfolio for HVAC Manufacturing
Forza Inc. has expanded its HyPer Polymer® adhesive and sealant portfolio with new products designed for HVAC and air handling equipment manufacturing.
The expanded line is based on modified silane technology and includes products for cabinet sealing, insulation bonding, structural assembly, gasketing, and vibration isolation. According to the company, the formulations are solvent-free, isocyanate-free, and low VOC.
The portfolio includes ForzaSEAL® OS2, a one-component hybrid polymer sealant for cabinet and panel seam sealing; ForzaBOND® OA4, a structural adhesive for cabinet assembly and component bonding; and ForzaBOND® OA13, a high-green-strength mounting adhesive designed for applications requiring faster initial hold.
Forza stated that the products were developed to address challenges associated with vibration, thermal cycling, humidity, cure time, and the use of flammable adhesive systems in HVAC production environments.
The company also offers complementary spray adhesives, modified epoxy systems, and foam tapes for insulation bonding, gasketing, and related assembly operations.
Rick Glenn, Owner and General Manager of Forza, said the portfolio was developed in response to manufacturing issues including slow cure times, production bottlenecks, and the operational constraints associated with flammable adhesive systems.
Forza manufactures and tests its adhesive and sealant products in the United States and stated that its in-house R&D capabilities allow cure speed, adhesion profiles, and viscosity to be adjusted for OEM-specific requirements.
