APPLIED Adhesives Acquires LJD Packaging

APPLIED Adhesives has completed its acquisition of LJD Packaging, an East Coast distributor of adhesives and equipment serving packaging, printing, labeling, and product assembly markets.

According to APPLIED Adhesives, the transaction is intended to strengthen its ability to provide adhesive solutions, equipment, and customer support across a broader geographic footprint. The company stated that the acquisition expands its reach in key converting and packaging-related end markets.

John Feriancek, President and CEO of APPLIED Adhesives, said the company plans to continue serving LJD Packaging customers while maintaining the service model those customers have come to expect.

Joe Fischer, President of LJD Packaging, said the acquisition is expected to provide customers with access to broader resources, solutions, and technical support.

The transaction reflects continued consolidation in the adhesives distribution market, particularly among suppliers serving packaging, labeling, printing, and assembly applications.
