IMCD Expands Distribution of Evonik Methacrylates in the U.S.

Evonik has expanded its collaboration with IMCD to include distribution of its VISIOMER® specialty methacrylates in the United States.

According to the companies, the move extends an existing distribution relationship already in place in Brazil and Canada. Under the expanded agreement, IMCD will distribute Evonik’s specialty methacrylate products across the U.S. market.

The VISIOMER product line supports a range of end-use applications, including coatings, adhesives and sealants, construction, composites, and polymer synthesis, according to Evonik.

Muge Tamkan, Vice President, Coatings & Construction, Americas at IMCD, said the expanded partnership is intended to strengthen IMCD’s ability to support formulators in the U.S. with specialty methacrylates and related technical service.

Joao Souza, Head of Specialty Methacrylates for the Americas region at Evonik, said the agreement is expected to help the company serve customers more effectively while reinforcing its market position in the United States.

The expanded arrangement reflects continued activity in specialty chemical distribution partnerships aimed at broadening product access and technical support across key regional markets.
