Sika Acquires Azpects Group, Expanding UK Landscaping Portfolio

Sika has acquired Azpects Group, a UK manufacturer of polymeric paving joint compounds and related products for landscaping applications.

According to Sika, the acquisition expands its UK landscaping portfolio and is expected to create new opportunities for growth, cross-selling, and manufacturing efficiencies. Azpects serves landscaping contractors through established trade distribution channels across the UK.

Azpects manufactures products used in the construction and maintenance of patios, pathways, and driveways, including polymeric jointing compounds designed as alternatives to traditional sand-and-cement materials.

Sika stated that the transaction also strengthens its position in the landscaping market as demand shifts toward polymer-based jointing technologies.

“With our well-established distribution network, we can bring Azpects' innovative product range into new channels and customer segments,” said Christoph Ganz, Regional Manager EMEA at Sika. He added that cross-selling opportunities and efficiency gains are expected to support continued growth for Sika UK.

The acquisition adds Azpects’ product technologies and contractor relationships to Sika’s broader construction materials portfolio while expanding its presence in outdoor hardscape and landscaping applications.
