Peninsula Polymers Maintains EcoVadis Platinum Sustainability Rating

Peninsula Polymers has maintained its Platinum Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis, a designation the company said places it among the top 1% of companies evaluated globally.

According to Peninsula Polymers, retaining Platinum status requires ongoing performance across EcoVadis’ four assessment areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The company noted that EcoVadis has continued to raise the benchmark for Platinum recognition over time.

Jack Moran, Business Development at Peninsula Polymers, said the EcoVadis assessment process has contributed to the implementation of policies and procedures intended to strengthen the company’s business practices and supplier performance.

Ken Moran, President of Peninsula Polymers, said sustainability remains a priority for the company and noted that the organization has implemented measurable tools and practices in support of continued development.

EcoVadis has evaluated more than 150,000 companies since its founding in 2007, according to the company.

Peninsula Polymers distributes specialty raw materials across North America and operates distribution centers throughout the United States.
