Graco Signs Agreement to Acquire Valco Melton

Valco Melton has signed a definitive agreement to be acquired by Graco Inc. in an all-cash transaction. According to the announcement, Valco Melton is expected to become part of Graco’s Industrial division following closing, which is anticipated in the third quarter of 2026.

The transaction brings together two companies serving material handling and industrial manufacturing markets. Valco Melton stated that the combination is expected to build on complementary capabilities while supporting continued global growth.

Valco Melton has operated for 74 years and provides adhesive dispensing and inspection systems serving industrial and packaging applications in 87 countries. The company reports that it employs more than 650 people and will continue serving markets focused on product quality and manufacturing performance.

According to the company, the agreement reflects shared customer focus and long-standing experience in material handling technologies. Valco Melton also highlighted the contributions of its leadership over time, including Greg Amend, Rich Santefort, and founder Buford Thomas, in building the organization.

The acquisition remains subject to closing conditions, with completion expected later in 2026.
