Univar Solutions Expands SI Group Additives Distribution Agreement Across EMEA

Univar Solutions has expanded its distribution agreement with SI Group to broaden access to performance additives across select EMEA markets.

According to the company, the agreement includes SI Group’s portfolio of additives for plastics and adhesives, as well as antioxidants, stabilizers, UV light stabilizers, and impact modifiers. The expanded arrangement is intended to support growing demand in plastic and rubber manufacturing applications.

The companies noted that the collaboration builds on an existing distribution relationship in Brazil and Canada. Under the new agreement, Univar Solutions will expand distribution activities in EMEA, including Türkiye for rubber and plastic performance additives and the Iberia region for plastic performance additives, antioxidants, stabilizers, UV light stabilizers, and impact modifiers.

Matthew Oliver, Global Senior Vice President of Performance Materials for Univar Solutions, said the expanded partnership is intended to strengthen the company’s ability to provide customers with access to SI Group’s additive technologies for polymer, additive, and plastics manufacturing applications.

SI Group also said the agreement is expected to support broader commercialization of specialty products in growing regional markets. Paul Tilley, Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at SI Group, said the collaboration with Univar Solutions is focused on supplying rubber and plastics solutions in Türkiye and plastics solutions in Iberia.

Univar Solutions stated that its technical support for specialty ingredient customers includes access to its global Solution Centers, including a regional flagship center in Essen, Germany, where technical teams work on formulation and performance-related support.
