H.B. Fuller has released its 2025 Sustainability Report, outlining new 2030 environmental targets and providing an update on how sustainability is being integrated into product innovation, operations, and business strategy.
According to the company, its 2030 targets include a 25% reduction in Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions, 35% reduction in Scope 2 emissions, 20% reduction in water demand, 20% reduction in manufacturing waste intensity, and a 75% increase in recycling rates. H.B. Fuller also stated that it is working with top-tier suppliers to improve Scope 3 emissions transparency and data quality.
The company reported that nearly 60% of new product development activity is focused on improving the sustainability profile of customers’ end products. H.B. Fuller said this reflects its broader effort to align sustainability with growth, operational efficiency, and customer value creation.
Celeste Mastin, President and CEO of H.B. Fuller, said sustainability is embedded in how the company operates and grows, and noted that practical initiatives tied to innovation and efficiency are intended to create value while advancing long-term targets.
The report also outlines operational measures including expanded renewable energy adoption, reduced water consumption through wastewater treatment and rainwater purification systems at select sites, and circularity initiatives such as a 50% reduction in shrink-wrap film at certain facilities. According to the company, these efforts are supported by governance structures and alignment with reporting frameworks including GRI and SASB.
In addition to operational and product-related efforts, H.B. Fuller stated that its 2025 community impact activities included the launch of Fuller Impact, a global giving and engagement platform focused on STEM education, youth leadership, and global citizenship.
