APPLIED Adhesives Acquires Industrial Sales and Distribution

APPLIED Adhesives has acquired Industrial Sales and Distribution, Inc. (ISD), a Rhode Island-based distributor of adhesives and silicones serving aerospace, product assembly, pad printing, and other manufacturing markets.

According to APPLIED Adhesives, the acquisition expands its East Coast presence and strengthens its position in the adhesives and silicones market. The company stated that the transaction also adds technical expertise, customer relationships, and specialized product capabilities developed by ISD over more than 35 years.

Formerly known as R.P. Morrison Company, ISD is headquartered in Westerly, Rhode Island. The distributor has focused on adhesive and silicone technologies for manufacturing customers requiring application support and specialized material solutions.

John Feriancek, President and CEO of APPLIED Adhesives, said the acquisition is intended to provide ISD customers with access to a broader portfolio of adhesives, silicones, dispensing equipment, and technical resources while continuing the service model established by ISD.

Kathryn Brennan, President of Industrial Sales and Distribution, said the combination creates additional growth opportunities while preserving the customer relationships and responsiveness associated with the business.

APPLIED Adhesives stated that the acquisition supports its ongoing strategy of expanding through investments in adhesive technologies, dispensing capabilities, and regional service resources.
