Engineered Polymer Solutions Launches All-acrylic "Soft Peel" Polymer Emulsion for PSAs

Engineered Polymer Solutions has launched an all-acrylic polymer emulsion for use in removable pressure-sensitive adhesive applications. EPS® 2157D exhibits moderate peel and tack with high shear values. It also exhibits a “soft” peel compared to other products with equivalent peel and tack with a harder “zip-like” peel. The company reports that the emulsion for removable PSA's offers:

• 180° Peel (PSTC-101) 2.2 lbs./inch
• Loop Tack (PSTC-16) 2.3 lbs./inch2
• Static Shear (PSTC-107) > 10,000 minutes (1”x1”x1Kg)
• Low foaming
