H.B. Fuller has announced plans to establish a new Aerospace Manufacturing Center of Excellence in Charlotte, North Carolina, as part of its long-term growth strategy in aviation, space, and defense markets.

According to the company, the facility is expected to open in early 2027 and will consolidate specialized manufacturing, packaging, testing, and quality operations into a single site designed specifically for aerospace requirements. H.B. Fuller stated that the investment is also part of Project Quantum Leap, its broader initiative to optimize its global footprint and focus resources on higher-value segments of its portfolio.

The company said the new site is intended to expand capacity while supporting long-term customer demand, program continuity, and quality requirements. H.B. Fuller also noted that the facility will include purpose-designed manufacturing systems, specialized mixing and packaging equipment, and laboratories for product development, validation, and release conformance testing.

João Magalhães, Senior Vice President, Engineering Adhesives at H.B. Fuller, said the aerospace market requires consistency, precision, and long-term commitment, and that the new center is intended to bring infrastructure, technical expertise, and quality systems together in a single operation.

According to H.B. Fuller, the facility is expected to achieve AS9100 certification and the company also plans to pursue Nadcap accreditation. The site will join H.B. Fuller’s broader network of aerospace-accredited facilities.
