Gehring-Montgomery Acquires Strohmeyer & Arpe’s Wax Division

Chemical distributor Gehring-Montgomery, based in Warminster, Pennsylvania (part of TER Chemicals Distribution Group) has acquired Strohmeyer & Arpe's wax division. TER Chemicals is held by TER Group, a globally active family enterprise organized in three divisions in chemical distribution, plastics distribution and processing, wax finishing and adhesives production. Founded in 1908, the group now has 1,150 employees, 48 subsidiaries and 9 production sites. The acquisition of Strohmeyer & Arpe's Wax Division marks a significant expansion of its product portfolio in carnauba wax and a strategic move to strengthen its position in the US market.

Mr. Mark S. Bitting, Managing Director of Gehring Montgomery, expressed his enthusiasm about this new venture, stating, "Gehring Montgomery looks forward to this addition to our natural wax offering to the marketplace. All existing contracts and agreements of Strohmeyer & Arpe will carry over to Gehring Montgomery.
