Overview:

The year 2025 marked a turning point for the global energy industry. After early 2020s’ EV production boom, growth is expected to plateau in 2026 due to weak sales stemming from charging infrastructure gaps and subsidy cuts in key regions. As a result, the industry is shifting from high-volume automotive assembly toward high-value applications in infrastructure, electronics, and sustainable packaging. In this context, the adhesives and sealants market is poised for continued growth driven by new demand applications rather than automotive growth. Data centers, for instance, are emerging as a key growth driver for high-performance adhesives in applications such as thermal management, liquid cooling, and miniaturization and shielding. This webinar presents ADI CMR’s findings on policy trends, the EV slowdown, data center expansion, and their implications for the adhesives and sealants industry.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand the 2026 outlook for the global adhesives and sealants market and the drivers including chemical industry overcapacity and slower growth in traditional end markets.
  2. Learn how trends in automotive, EVs, and construction are influencing adhesive and sealant demand and why some historically important end-use sectors are facing slower growth.
  3. Evaluate the strategic responses of leading adhesive manufacturers and how companies are repositioning portfolios toward faster-growing, higher-margin applications.
  4. Identify the most attractive future growth segments, including thermal management, liquid cooling, EMI shielding, and advanced electronic assembly.
  5. Explore how AI infrastructure, data centers, semiconductor manufacturing, miniaturization, and 5G deployment are creating new high-value opportunities.
