Overview:
The year 2025 marked a turning point for the global energy industry. After early 2020s’ EV production boom, growth is expected to plateau in 2026 due to weak sales stemming from charging infrastructure gaps and subsidy cuts in key regions. As a result, the industry is shifting from high-volume automotive assembly toward high-value applications in infrastructure, electronics, and sustainable packaging. In this context, the adhesives and sealants market is poised for continued growth driven by new demand applications rather than automotive growth. Data centers, for instance, are emerging as a key growth driver for high-performance adhesives in applications such as thermal management, liquid cooling, and miniaturization and shielding. This webinar presents ADI CMR’s findings on policy trends, the EV slowdown, data center expansion, and their implications for the adhesives and sealants industry.
