Bill Allmond

Bill Allmond is the President of the Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC), the leading trade association for the makers of North America’s adhesive and sealant products that companies and consumers rely upon to bond their world together. Allmond joined ASC after a 10-year tenure as Vice President of Government and Public Relations at the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates, the leading association representing the U.S. specialty chemical industry. Allmond has built a 30-year career in executive, advocacy, product stewardship and public affairs roles, all but three years within chemical industry nonprofits. He previously held positions at the Alliance for Chemical Distribution, where he led its regulatory and product stewardship programs, and the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association, where he led its government and industry affairs.

He currently serves on the National Association of Manufacturers’ Council of Manufacturing Associations Board of Advisors and the Chemical Industry Council of California Board of Directors. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Mason University and resides in Leesburg, Virginia, with his wife and two children.
