Our Operational and Manufacturing Excellence webinar series continues with “Optimizing Plant Operations including Design Considerations for Growth.” This webinar will focus on facility start-ups, plant expansions, increases in operations capacities, alternate capabilities, plant relocations, and asset retirements.

Don’t invest in potentially unnecessary CAPEX to support expansion and/or growth. When planning a manufacturing facility expansion for growth, performing a thorough due diligence of the most important areas is critical. This webinar will explore expansion and growth elements for consideration such as market demand, capacity assessment, financial feasibility, site location(s), facility design and layout, staff planning, supply chain management, risk management, and more.

Learning Objective:

  1. Attendees will learn key considerations for evaluating the effectiveness of their existing facilities and current capacities.
  2. Attendees will hear tips for understanding the technical requirements of best-in-class operations.
  3. The webinar will provide specific detail related to various factors that should be considered when embarking on a new facility start-up or plant expansion.
  4. Considerations for asset retirement or relocations will be shared.
  5. The webinar will discuss alternative growth strategies, such as acquiring an existing business or facility or merging multiple locations.

Agenda

  1. Performing in-depth due diligence prior to expansion
  2. Assessing options for a new or expanded facility
