Description

New plasma surface treating technology from Enercon Industries Corporation will help manufacturers improve adhesive and sealant bonding on plastics, composites and metals. This innovative technology breakthrough provides high and uniform treatment levels at process speeds that were previously unimaginable. The system features a MultiPort™ plasma design which produces an intense blown ion plasma discharge up to 2" wide. The plasma cleans, etches and functionalizes surfaces to improve adhesion of adhesives, inks, paints and coatings.

Objectives:

  • Why plasma is an effective means of surface preparation to promote adheison
  • How new Blown-ion™ plasma technology is capable of treating at wider widths and processing speeds with uniformity
  • How Blown-ion™ plasma with MultiPort™ tehcnology outperforms rotary plasma systems

Expert Presenter:

Wilson Lee – Enercon Industries

As Director of Business Development for Enercon Industries Corporation, Wilson Lee uses his technical and business expertise to advance plasma and flame surface treating technologies for use in new applications and markets.
