About the Awards Program

The ASC Innovation Awards Program is designed to recognize innovation in adhesive and sealant product developments. These awards identify significant impact chemistries that contribute to downstream industries unmet needs and advancements in technology. The award is intended to foster and encourage innovation across the Adhesive & Sealant Industry. Raw material suppliers and/or manufactures of adhesives and or sealants can submit for the award as well as collectively.

There are TWO Awards Given Annually:

  • The Small Business Innovation Award ($50 million or less in annual sales globally)

Winners of the Award Will:

  • Be awarded at a special ceremony at the ASC Annual Spring Convention
  • Display a poster detailing the technology at the Welcome Reception and during the Award Ceremony
  • Receive a beautiful crystal award recognizing the achievement
  • Be featured in an outbound ASC press release and on the ASC website Innovation Awards page
  • Be promoted on social media to the industry

How Does a New Product/Technology Win?

Raw material suppliers and/or manufactures of adhesives and or sealants can submit for the award. The award can also be submitted collectively between raw material supplier and manufacturer. One combined entry shall be submitted for that scenario.

Recipients of these awards will demonstrate the value proposition of the novel chemistry and added value in a field application or improvement in design and chemical process.

To be eligible for an award, a nominated technology must meet the scope of the ASC Innovation Awards Program by meeting each of these five criteria:

  1. It must be a development with a significant chemistry component
