Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Information

ChemCenter, A Service of the American Chemical Society
This is now the main site of the American Chemical Society, offering a vast array of resource lists, as well as access to STN literature searching, chemical patent searching, ACS journals table of contents and full text, Analytical Chemistry's LabGuide, and the Chemcyclopedia buyers guide.

Gary Wiggin's "Chemical Information Sources from Indiana University"
Gary Wiggins, well known in the field of chemical information, has compiled one of the most complete Internet resource lists for chemists. It is kept current and highly recommended.

The World Wide Web Virtual Library: Chemical Engineering
This virtual library of chemical engineering information has a subject index with access points such as Process Control, Statistics and Experimental Design, Fluid Mechanics, Particle Technology, Reactions, Process Design, Consultants, and many others. It is an excellent starting point for engineering information. Engineering information may also be obtained at some of the other chemical information sites in this section.

Sheffield ChemDex, at the University of Sheffield, UK
A comprehensive international listing of chemistry sites for the R&D chemist. It was one of the earliest collections and continues to be regularly updated.

UCLA's List of Chemistry Resources on the Internet
Another acclaimed "virtual chemistry library," including Gopher, FTP and USENET sites.

WWW Links for Chemists, Department of Chemistry, University of Liverpool, UK
This is an index of chemistry resources on the WWW that provides the facility to do a keyword search of the index. The site features a collaborative effort to index international university chemistry department websites. Including links to all UK university chemistry department websites. If you need a break from work take a look at the chemistry coffee table, there's a selection of magazines and newspapers to flick through, or perhaps you would prefer to wander around Liverpool's Chemistry Art Gallery.
