Learn about caulks and sealants, their properties and functions at the 2010 Caulks & Sealants Short Course, co-located with ASC’s 2010 Spring Convention & EXPO in Savannah.
Caulks and sealants serve many functions, primarily in the area of building construction. Falling between higher-strength adhesives and extremely low-strength putties and caulks, sealants primarily secure assemblies and joints by filling a gap between substrates and forming a barrier. Sealants offer important performance properties, providing many advantages to modern design. Putties and caulks serve another function—to take up space and fill voids. Taught by industry experts, ASC’s two-day, technical short course will help you gain a better understanding of the functions and applications of caulks and sealants.
