Course Description
Adhesives help make products lighter, stronger and more durable, often saving time and money in the process. But it’s imperative to know how and when to use them to maximize the many advantages they offer over traditional bonding methods.

To help nontechnical individuals build a good foundation of adhesive knowledge, The ChemQuest Group and the ASC have developed a new webinar series entitled Adhesives 101, which is based on the North American Adhesive Bonding Professional Training Course.

Adhesives 101 will help participants:

  • Better understand the science behind different adhesive technologies
  • Understand the benefits adhesives bring to specific applications
  • Explore versatile applications to improve product design and streamline industrial production

Course Instructors
Session #1 – Rick Jones, The ChemQuest Group, Inc.
Sessions #2-#6 – Dick Hartshorn, The ChemQuest Group, Inc.

Both instructors have almost 30 years each in the adhesives and coatings industries working for various organizations. Now with The ChemQuest Group, an international, strategic business management consulting firm, Mr. Jones and Dr. Hartshorn focus on project planning and successful business strategies. Mr. Jones’ area of expertise includes business management as it relates to launching technical products that target OEM end-users while Dr. Hartshorn specializes in competitive technology intelligence, technology planning and product innovation.

Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for nontechnical adhesives industry professionals and design engineers involved in using adhesives in the assembly of an endless list of products—especially those involving critical applications in such industries as automotive and aerospace.
