ASC Spring Convention & EXPO will be held April 20-22 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. This three day event will include concurrent technical sessions focusing on business development and market trends, government relations issues, and new/advanced technology. The EXPO will be held on Tuesday, April 21 from 3:30-6:30pm and will feature over 70 supplier exhibitors.
Co-located with the convention & EXPO, the Caulks and Sealants Short Course held on April 20-21. Caulks and sealants are primarily used in building construction and transportation to bond surfaces together, fill gaps and serve as a physical barrier. Due to their use in bonding substrates with differing coefficients of thermal expansion, sealants are formulated to have higher elongation and paste like viscosities to allow for gap filling applications. Sealants offer important performance properties, providing many advantages to modern design. Putties and caulks serve another function—to take up space and fill voids. Taught by industry experts, ASC’s two-day, technical short course will help you gain a better understanding of the functions and applications of caulks and sealants.
