The 2018 ASC Annual Spring Convention & EXPO
The ASC Annual Spring Convention & EXPO will be held April 23-25, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Miami in Miami, Florida.
REMEMBER this important event only happens ONCE PER YEAR!
It is the LARGEST GATHERING of adhesive & sealant professionals in North America and IMPORTANT for your company to attend. This three day event will include concurrent technical sessions focusing on business development and market trends, regulatory, processing/operations, market segments and new/advanced technology applications. The 2018 ASC Annual Spring EXPO
The 2018 ASC Annual Spring EXPO will be held on Tuesday April 24, 2018 from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. The EXPO is the industry's DIRECT ACCESS to the leading suppliers, technologies and solutions in the adhesive and sealant market and is open to all suppliers, manufacturers and service providers in the industry. This year's EXPO continues to expand on last year's success!

The 2018 Concurrent Technical Short Courses
Polyurethane Short Course
Co-located with the annual convention & EXPO is a two day Polyurethane Short Course being held April 23-24, 2018. This intensive two day short course will cover the chemistry and technology behind 1 and 2 part polyurethane adhesives and sealants including markets, raw materials, reactions, formulating, fundamentals of adhesion, polymer science and physical testing. The content, delivered by experts in the field, along with discussions and networking of peers, suppliers, and manufacturers will present an opportunity to advance your knowledge on how to design, select, apply and trouble shoot polyurethane adhesive package and ultimately add to your bottom line.
Short course participants are invited to join ASC at the Welcome Reception Monday evening April 23rd and the Annual Spring EXPO and Reception on Tuesday, April 4th from 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. after the course ends.

The Polyurethane Short Course is designed to provide technical professionals a better understanding of the chemistry, technology and fundamentals of polyurethane adhesive and sealants.

Hot Melt Short Course
Co-located with the convention & EXPO is a two day Hot Melt Short Course being held April 23-24, 2018. This course presents formulation strategies, based on application and performance requirements for a variety of hot melt adhesive markets by industry experts. Learn how plasticizers, tackifiers and waxes are used to enhance base polymers for optimized processing and properties and how to evaluate the mechanical and rheological behavior of hot melts and resulting bonded assemblies.
Short course participants are invited to join ASC at the Welcome Reception Monday evening April 23rd and the Annual Spring EXPO and Reception on Tuesday, April 4th from 3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. after the course ends.

ASC 'Gives Back' Community Service Program
Join Kraton, ASC Staff and your peers on Monday, April 23 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm! In partnership with Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Department and the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade, we will help with much needed sand dune restoration via plantings of sea oat plants and beach cleanup at the beautiful beaches of Crandon Park which was impacted by the storms that pounded Florida last year. Registered attendees should meet in the hotel lobby at Noon (lunch will be provided).
This event is always well received by the community! Volunteers in the past have truly enjoyed the camaraderie with fellow industry peers and the sense of pride involved with making a difference in the local communities that we hold our events in.

2017 Annual Spring Convention in Atlanta
In partnership with Projects with a Purpose, we volunteered at Truly Living Well on April 3, 2017. Truly Living Well is an urban garden used to provide fresh produce and vegetables to local residents, teach and educate residents, including children, as to cooking and preparing fresh foods. Our volunteers helped with mulching, composting, and gardening needs as well as building a chicken coop and goat pen for educational purposes. 2016 Fall Convention in Indianapolis
In partnership with United Way of Indianapolis, we volunteered at the HVAF Warman House for Veterans. HVAF (Hoosiers Veterans Assistance Foundation) of Indiana provides housing to more than 200 homeless veterans throughout Central Indiana. We helped with special outside projects and yard work to help beautify the property and enhance the home for the veterans that live there.
2016 Spring Convention in New Orleans
In partnership with HandsOn New Orleans, we volunteered at the Einstein Charter School to renovate its physical space and create a more exhilarating and organized place to learn. 2015 Fall Convention in Pittsburgh
In partnership with Pittsburgh Cares, we volunteered at the Point State Park to help beautify the park. Additionally, onsite at the convention volunteers that couldn't attend the offsite project constructed homeless care bags to be delivered to the homeless in and around Pittsburgh. Attendees truly appreciated the opportunity to give back to the community in a variety of ways.
