Please join Arizona Chemical and ASC staff as we give back to the community of Pittsburgh on Monday, October 19th from 1-4. We will be participating in the Fall planting activities and trail maintenance in beautiful Point State Park, directly across from the hotel. Point State Park, a national Historic Landmark is at the tip of Pittsburgh's "Golden Triangle" at the confluence of the famous three rivers; Monongahela, Ohio and Allegheny. The park sits on the Fort Pitt site to commemorate and preserve the strategic and historic heritage of the area during the French and Indian War (1754 - 1763).
For those that cannot make the Monday arrival, the second community project will be constructing Homeless Care to be delivered to homeless individuals to serve as encouragement and care over the winter months. You will have an opportunity to sign up for time slots throughout the convention, to sort, stuff supplies into kits and network with your peers or colleagues. The presentation of the bags will occur during the EXPO.
Last, for those that cannot participate in either project, we are accepting donations that would be paid directly to Pittsburgh Cares to assist with the purchase of the supplies for the homeless care kits.
You may register to participate or make a donation HERE
