Cera C-Cure Renames Itself to Match Its Adhesive Brand. Prepares for Aggressive Marketing Drive.

Cer C-Cure, makers of the Crocodile brand range of tile adhesives and grouts, has renamed itself Jorakay Corporation, simultaneously announcing its intention to market aggressively in neighboring countries. The Thai adhesives company is targeting Myanmar and Vietnam in particular, aiming to achieve a 15 to 20 percent growth in revenue.

The word “Jorakay” means “Crocodile,” and the company says that the name change was undertaken to better align the company name with its well-known brand. Crocodile tile adhesives and grouts have long been preferred by the Thai construction industry, and Jorakay, which has 4,000 distributors in the CLMV countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam), says it aims to lead the Southeast Asian Market.

Jorakay will also be looking at expansion into new markets, and has ISO status, but aims to maintain its local market share while seeking further opportunities abroad. The company says that it believes it can remain competitive, growing its market share despite a slump in the construction industry and intensified competition.
