ASC BOARD ADDS NEW MEMBERS, ADDS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBER,
NAMES TREASURER FOR 2017-2018
Succession Plan in Place for Volunteer Leadership
April 29, 2016 – Bethesda, MD – The The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) announces that it will have two new board members, a new executive committee member, and has announced its treasurer for 2017.
Robert Wanat, Chief Technology Officer at Bostik is joining the Board, replacing Bob Marquette, SVP and CEO of Americas for Bostik. Wanat will serve out the remainder of Marquette’s term through December 31, 2017.
Ben Matuska, Commercial Director Adhesives and Functional Materials at Dow is joining the Board, replacing Chris Urheim who is now Director of Microbrials at Dow. Matuska will serve out the remainder of Urheim’s term through December 31, 2016.
Matt Devine, President of DHM Adhesives has been named to ASC’s Executive Committee, effective immediately. He will serve a two-year term on the EC, representing small manufacturers for the organization at the EC level.
Brian McSwigan, Pressure Sensitive Adhesives Packaging, Consumer Goods and Construction Adhesives at Henkel Corporation was named as Treasurer beginning on January 1, 2017. He will serve a two-year term as Treasurer through December 31, 2018.

Croson. “The recent additions and adjustments stay true to ASC’s history of having a blend of leaders representing small, medium and large companies, as well as senior management and technically-oriented roles. In addition, the announcement secures the succession planning for the officers of the organization that is required for 2017.”
