Jowat Opens New Plant in Malaysia as Centre for Manufacturing, Applications and R&D for the Asia-Pacific Market

Posted By ASC, Friday, June 5, 2015

Jowat SE had opened a new adhesive manufacturing plant in Bandar Enstek, Malaysia. Jowat has been active in Malaysia for over 15 years, and the new plant will better meet demand for their adhesives in the Asia-Pacific market. The plant is 45,000 square meters, with a convenient location near International Airport of Kuala Lumpur and access to international shipping routes. In addition to adhesive production, this site will conduct independent research and development, tailored to the needs of local adhesive consumers. Jowat aims to provide the highest level of service and customer satisfaction to Asia-Pacific consumers with local production and product development connected to local needs. Their adhesives primarily serve the wood processing, paper & packaging, and automotive & textiles industries. Construction on the Bandar Enstek plant took 14 months, and in late April the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board of Jowat SE, along with 260 guests, attended the grant opening.
