ASC to Offer Webinar on Bipartisan TSCA Proposal
June 4, 2013 – Bethesda, MD – Responding to the recently introduced breakthrough bipartisan TSCA reform proposal, the Adhesive and Sealant Council has announced it will conduct a webinar to address the details regarding The Chemical Safety Improvement Act of 2013 (S. 1009). The webinar will be held Thursday, June 13 from 11 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. (EDT). The program will be free for ASC members while non-members may participate for $199.
“No legislative proposal has been more important to the ASC membership in the last 20 years,” said Matthew E. Croson, President of ASC. “It is critical that all members understand both the basics of the legislative proposal as well its particular impact on our industry. This information will give them the opportunity to educate their elected representatives about the importance of the issue and this bill.
Mark Duvall, a principal with the law firm of Beveridge & Diamond, will provide details regarding S.1009’s provisions while Croson and Mark Collatz, ASC’s director of regulatory affairs, will offer some insights on how the bipartisan proposal would affect adhesive and sealant manufacturers.
