ASC WELCOMES SEVEN NEW MEMBERS IN SECOND QUARTER OF 2013
15 New Members Add to Council Strength
June 19, 2013 – Bethesda, MD – The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) welcomed seven new members to its ranks in the second three months of 2013. The new member companies represent different aspects of the adhesive and sealant supply chain, including raw materials suppliers, manufacturers and global affiliates.
“Leaders are taking note of the positive changes happening at ASC and voting to be part of that change by joining the Council and becoming actively involved,” notes Matthew E. Croson, president of ASC. “We are pleased to once again have 15 new members joining the Council so far in 2013 – including seven in the second quarter, and look to their leadership in the technical, regulatory and education space.”
The following companies have joined the Council in the second quarter of 2013:
Cardolite Corporation Beardow & Adams Adhesives, Ltd.
Pace Analytical Nan Pao Resins Chemical Company
Paramelt USA Lord Corporation
“Companies join a trade association for three major reasons: they want to make sure regulations are fair to the industry, they want to make sure that technical standards are in place to compete on a level playing field, and they want access to focused educational opportunities to support their teams,” added Croson. “ASC is delivering on these value propositions by focusing on regulatory issues that directly impact our industry, putting teams together to respond to technical issues, and providing focused education opportunities on a variety of platforms in order to support the industry. We welcome any and all companies involved in adhesives and sealants to join the Council and help guide these efforts.”
