May 22, 2014 – Bethesda, MD – The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) announces that Steve Rosenberg, Senior Vice President at Sika Corporation and Forest Driggs, Vice President at Franklin International have joined the ASC Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Rosenberg replaces Steve Harms, who recently retired from Sika Corporation after 30 years of service to the company.  Harms served on the Board for the past three years, and was the Board Liaison for the Council’s Regulatory Affairs Committee.  Rosenberg will serve the remainder of Harms’ Board Term which runs through December 31, 2014.

Driggs replaces Larry Owen, Senior Vice President at Franklin International, former Past Chair of ASC, and Board Liaison for the Global Resources Committee.  Owen will continue serving on the Global Resources Committee.  Driggs will serve the remainder of Owen’s Board Term which runs through December 31, 2016.

“I look forward to collaborating with both Steve and Forest as ASC moves into the execution phase of its newly adopted Long Range Plan,” said Matthew E. Croson, President of ASC.  “Fresh perspectives are always good for associations, and I’m looking forward to both Steve and Forest bringing their industry voice to the Board level discussions as we focus on adding value to ASC membership.”

“I also think it’s important to point out that Forest is replacing one of ASC’s longest standing leaders, with Larry Owen having served for 16+ years on the Board, serving as its chair, and given countless hours focused on how ASC can best support the industry,” added Croson.  “His leadership has been a strong part of the success story at ASC, and we appreciate that he will continue to serve on the global resources committee – another indication that he is one of a kind in the association world and an even clearer indication of his character.”

About Steve Rosenberg – Steve Rosenberg has worked with Sika Corporation since 1991, mainly focused on research and development.  He is currently Senior Vice President, Risk, Quality and Sustainability Management.  In addition to his considerable technical experience at Sika, Rosenberg has also worked at Smooth-On Inc. and Minwax Company.  He holds a BS in Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University and a MS in Chemistry from Stevens Institute of Technology.

About Forest Driggs – Forest Driggs joined Franklin International in 1995 and has work experience in both the Adhesives and Polymers Group and Construction Products Group.  In 2011, Driggs took over day-to-day responsibilities as the organization’s chief financial officer, and is currently Vice President of Finance and Development.  Driggs has been an active ASC member, serving on the Regulatory Affairs Committee, and also has experience with the National Association of Manufacturers and Ohio Manufacturers Association.
