ASC has developed and is now testing a new online portal that will educate engineers, designers and architects about the benefit and value adhesives and sealants bring to modern product design and assembly. Located at www.adhesives.org, the site is the web resource on adhesives and sealants.

Web site features include an online Adhesive and Sealant Technology Family Selector Tool, an Adhesive CAD Symbol and other practical tools. The site also houses unbiased information on such topics as:

• Adhesive and sealant technologies
• Joint design and testing
• Dispensing/application systems
• Applications, uses and test methods
• Online library of technical articles
• Industry presentations and case studies

Users can opt to receive a free monthly newsletter highlighting the latest advances in adhesion technology. Additionally, there is a special section for college engineering students.

Status:
The site is now "live" and being beta-tested in the engineering community. ASC has drafted a marketing plan that targets professional engineering societies, online engineering portals and end-user trade publications.
