EPA, DOT and OSHA Information (to be upgraded December 2009)
ASC's Directory to Regulatory Assistance Providers is designed to provide you with an easy-to-use reference tool that will help identify key environmental assistance providers and policy makers within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA) and the Department of Transportation's Office of Hazardous Materials Safety. By having this information conveniently listed in a single document, your regulatory and compliance personnel can quickly access to the names, phone numbers, and in some cases, email addresses of the people at EPA or OSHA who can answer their questions or are critical decision makers with regard to issues affecting our industry.

This directory is divided into the following sections: Section I identifies the agency's policymaking leadership located either at the EPA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. or the EPA campus facilities in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Section II is organized by the agency's ten regional offices with contact information for the key compliance personnel in the areas air, water, toxics, permitting, and enforcement identified. Often it is one of these regional offices where your company can get a quick answer to an important federal environmental compliance questions. Section III identifies OSHA Headquarters personnel, and Section IV lists OSHA personnel by region.

ASC hopes this directory proves beneficial to your company and we urge you to contact ASC's Director of Government Relations, Mark Collatz, with specific comments or questions about any of the information provided.

EPA's Emission Scenario Document on Adhesive Formulation
This EPA document provides information on the sources, use patterns and potential release pathways of chemicals used in the formulation of adhesives. The document presents standard approaches for estimating the environmental releases of and occupational exposures to additives and components used in adhesive formulations. These approaches are intended to provide conservative, screening-level estimates resulting in release and exposure amounts that are likely to be higher, or at least higher than average, than amounts that might actually occur in the real world setting.
